Vasilios Sfinarolakis

Vasilios Sfinarolakis is a Director of Photography with over 18 years of experience across documentary, narrative, and commercial film. A member of IATSE Local 600, he works at the intersection of intimate storytelling and high-stakes production.

His recent work includes serving as Director of Photography on The Dynasty: UConn Huskies for Skydance Sports — a multi-episode documentary series following the UConn Women's Basketball program through their 2024–25 National Championship season. He has described the project as a story about something deeper than basketball: the power of relationships, the meaning of family, and the relentless drive to excel.

Additional credits include Satisfied, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2024; Rosie's Theater Kids for Paramount+, executive produced by Sheila Nevins; Twyla Moves for PBS American Masters; and Born in Synanon for Paramount+. His documentary Dina received the Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize in 2017.

He has collaborated with Amblin, Skydance, Stick Figure Productions, See It Now Studios, and MTV Documentary Films, with work distributed across Apple TV+, Paramount+, PBS, and Prime Video.
